PLX Parcel Logistics
Version of May 24, 2018. (Adapted to the new GDPR privacy legislation.)

You also want to be able to move freely online
Thank you for visiting our website www.plxlogistics.eu where clarity is a great asset. If you are interested, you can fill in a contact form here.

This requires conscious information and security
As a company, we are obliged to inform you about the handling of your personal data. What happens to them, for what purpose, and how they are kept and secured. This is stated in this Privacy Statement. It should be concise, transparent, understandable and easily accessible. Those values are so close to what we – among other things – want to radiate with our website (simple, rich, open, clear, connecting), that shaping this statement was actually a pleasure.

Your data will be treated carefully, confidentially and respectfully
Of course. If you fill in a contact form or use our reservation system, we will only use your data to contact you. If you request contact via the contact form, we will use your e-mail address and/or telephone number to contact you. The personal explanation that you may include, does not leave our (secure) mailbox. More about all that in detail below.

What personal data does it concern exactly?
Because you visit the website, fill in a contact form, and/or use the services of “PLX Parcel Logistics”, your personal data is processed: first and last name, address details, telephone number, e-mail address, IP address (the address from where the website was visited, i.e. the internet connection used) and data about your activities on the website.

Why are they requested?
To contact you and to be able to perform the service. We logically use your name and contact details to maintain contact. Your data is also used to analyze visitor behavior to improve the website.

What does not happen with your data?
Your data will not be sold to others. They are also not used to compile extensive visitor profiles, nor for decision-making based on automated processing (that is, by computer programs or systems without human intervention).

Will your data be shared with third parties?
Yes, only if this is necessary due to a legal obligation or a legitimate interest such as reasonable business:
– bank, due to the processing of payments
– tax adviser, because of access to invoices with address details
– website host, for the storage of data from contact forms

– FaceBook Pixel, for the analysis of website visit data
– Google Analytics, for the analysis of website visit data
– SEO optimization, provides insight into the visit times per page
Processing agreements have been concluded with these ‘processors’.

What happens while you surf?
Technical and functional cookies are used to make our website work properly and to guarantee ease of use. In addition, general visitor data is kept via Google Analytics, including the IP address. With SEO optimization, the visit time per page is tracked in order to perfectly match the length of the texts to the average visit times.

Cookies – make them work for you
A cookie is a small and simple text file that is stored on your computer or mobile device when you first visit a website. Via the settings of your internet browser you can opt out of cookies (no longer save them), delete all previously saved information, and have a notification sent when a cookie is sent. Please note that some websites may function less well if you disable all cookies. (Including ours.)

Google Analytics – in a privacy-friendly way
This is used to analyze visit and click behavior on the website. This information is stored by Google on servers in the United States and processed in reports on the functioning of the website. On the websites of Google and Google Analytics you will find their privacy policy with more information.

This collection of data is done in a privacy-friendly manner; I have anonymized the unique customer part of the IP address, ‘sharing data’ has been turned off, and no combination of other Google services with Google Analytics is used.

Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence on this.

Your data is well secured.
We take the protection of your data seriously. Your data is stored offline on our PC and stored online encrypted. Our computer is secured with appropriate and effective technical measures, and the website uses a reliable SSL certificate.

How long will your data be kept?
No longer than necessary to achieve the goals for which your data is collected. There is an exception: just like any entrepreneur, we are legally obliged to keep my administration, including invoices with address details, for seven years.

Is something not right, do you want to view your data or have it removed?
Contact us and we will arrange it for you, within 14 (fourteen) working days at the latest. If you see reason to do so, you can object to the processing of your personal data and/or submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
